How do I know if my eyecare is covered?To find out if your eyecare is covered by your insurance provider, you can call your provider using the customer service number on the back of your insurance card. We can also work with you to determine if your service is covered by contacting your provider for you.

Is eyewear covered by insurance?Most vision insurance plans cover the cost of a yearly eye exam, eyeglass frames, and prescription eyeglass lenses. Many also cover the cost of contact lens exams and prescription contact lenses. We can contact your provider to determine your specific coverage.

What is the difference between medical and vision insurance?Typically, medical insurance will help cover the cost of diagnosis and treatment for eye conditions like allergies, styes, injuries, and common eye diseases. Vision insurance, on the other hand, typically covers yearly eye exams and prescription eyewear. At Visual Eyes, we can work with you and your provider to determine your specific coverage.

What if my provider isn’t listed or I don’t have insurance?Visual Eyes Omaha is not an insurance provider; however, we do offer a group program: VEO Vision Savings Benefit Plan. If your insurance provider isn’t listed here, talk with your employer or qualifying organization about enrolling in the VEO Vision Savings Benefit Plan today. If you prefer, we can contact your employer or organization for you to discuss enrollment.
